Otters Disability Swimming
The Leighton Buzzard Otters are pleased to have formed a link with 'Cedars Coaching Academy.'
We are a small friendly club that welcomes members of any age whatever their disability. We meet regulararly, during term time, from 10.00 - 12.00 on Saturday mornings at Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre, Mentmore Road, Leighton Buzzard. Instruction in the water is provided by qualified teachers assisted by volunteers. This may take the form of group activitities or individual tuition. Facilities for the disabled are available including a hoist and a comprehensive range of swimming aids.
We also need and welcome volunteers to the club - confidence in the water and a cheerful disposition is required. Training for teaching awards is also available.
